Annie vit avec son petit ami Duncan dans une petite ville balnéaire anglaise. Duncan est fan d’un chanteur de rock oublié à la carrière éclair, Tucker Crowe (Ethan Hawke), qui a totalement disparu des radars et auquel il consacre un site web.
